In his book, Some of My Best Friends are Black, Tanner Colby presents an important exploration of why the civil rights movement produced such little true integration in schools, neighborhoods, offices, and churches in the United States, including Kansas City. Join SURJ in a discussion of the implications and impacts of a Jim Crow that never ended.
We’ll meet on March 14th and 21st, 6-7:30pm. Please plan to join us for both meetings if you can, or just one if you’re able.
