In our relationships–with family, friends, co-workers, neighbors–there are moments we must confront. Sooner or later, we will face a conversation that reinforces white supremacy. A lot of the time, we understand the importance of contradicting these words and actions, but we don’t always know how to respond. There aren’t many examples of how to challenge and hold others accountable. And what we often see modeled is rooted in argument and shaming, rathern than a shared desire for growth. If we shut each other down, we’ll never build the power we need.

To effectively grow a vast multi-cultural movement to end white supremacy, we must engage and mobilize a significant number of white people to embrace and act upon an anti-racist agenda. And we must continue to love each other. This cannot happen unless we learn the difficult work of CALLING IN folks in a way that brings them to the table and engages. We want them to join our efforts to disrupt white supremacy in ourselves and the community at large.

At this two hour training workshop, we will dive deeper into learning what it looks like to Call In, and we will take time to practice with other folks in our movement. This training workshop will be similar to our November mass meeting content, though deeper and with more opportunities to try on conversations.

Challenge yourself to show up in this shared space and in your personal relationships. We commit to show up with you.
