This is an all-hands-on-deck moment. In the midst of your grief, rage, and fear– come together with other people in your community who care. To our fellow white people: we play an important role right now to show up, fight white supremacy, and recommit to organizing our own people away from the far right.

Join SURJ Kansas City to get grounded together– and then get organized for the work ahead.

• We are here because we are committed to being a part of efforts to build a better world, to show up for people under attack, and to do our part now and over the next four years.

• We are here gathering together in community right now to reach for each other instead of giving into isolation or being immobilized by our fear. Our opposition is counting on us staying divided and frozen, so today we are taking a first step against that.

• We are here because white people who care about justice have an important role to play right now and in the days ahead. We are here to practice coming together to be greater than the sum of our parts and facing those days ahead collectively.
